As part of the 4th Annual CAV Forum, a panel discussion brought together field-based and technical perspectives to explore the real-world challenges of civilian armoured vehicle fleet management.

The session highlighted why procurement and production are only the beginning of a vehicle’s lifecycle, and examined the operational difficulties of maintaining availability in demanding environments. Topics included spare-parts supply chains, workshop capability, technical skills, documentation, and quality control systems.

Featuring Yoni Lapidot of Armoured Consulting and Imad Abdul Baki of UNHCR, the discussion provided practical examples and lessons learned from the field, offering valuable insight for organisations responsible for managing high-value security fleets.
